Description

The North Street Community trail is a Waterville favorite! With a paved trail, North Street offers beautiful views of Messalonskee Stream, stretching from Edgemont Avenue to the northern end of North Street. A “Story Walk” has been installed along the trail, allowing children to engage in fun activities along the trail. During summer months, a dock is accessible allowing kayakers and canoers to access the stream. The trail also runs alongside North Street Park and the community pool.

Getting There

Park at the boat landing off North Street, downhill from Thayer’s Emergency Room entrance. Alternatively access from the North Street Playground or approach Edgemont Avenue along a well-signed sidewalk connector from Head of Falls.
