Description

Once a bustling industrial island full of factories, Mill Island has been transformed into a beautiful, family-friendly park. With trails that follow the perimeter of the island, Mill Island Trail offers picturesque views of the Kennebec River, with opportunities to also view the ruins of the former factories. Complete with playground equipment, benches, public restrooms, and a large playing field, Mill Island is a great place for a family picnic, a quick trail walk, or just a spot to relax and listen to the sound of the Kennebec River.
